What if Golf Was a Contact Sport?

Pat contemplates the ramifications of today's speculation

Ronald Albacore continues his queries on how things might have turned out if you asked the right questions.

I liked setting up the aural placement for this one – getting the golfers on the course with the right background sounds, and the announcers in hushed tones talking about the pounding they’re giving each other.

Something about someone doing ‘sharp, jerky movements’ while others try to play through made me laugh. That and the applause after the shotgun blast. Very civilized. Enjoy!

    I am still giggling. Which is nice, cause this cold is kicking my butt and I was was feeling lousy. Body still feels lousy, but spirits are doing better!

      Glad it at least kicked up your spirits. I still snicker at the timing of some of the hits. Can’t help it. There’s something really wrong with this bit.

    I few years ago, I recited this entirely from memory at the audition for a TV show.
